Trading Strategies
1. DCA (Dollar Cost Averaging) [Planned]
The bot can systematically invest at regular intervals, regardless of price fluctuations. This smooths out entry prices over time and reduces the impact of volatility.
How it works:
- Set a trading interval (30 seconds to 1 hour)
- Specify what percentage of your wallet to use per trade (1-50%)
- The bot enters positions at each interval based on market conditions
Best for: Reducing timing risk and building positions over time
2. Sentiment-Based Trading
The bot uses our proprietary Fear & Greed Index (FGI) to identify market opportunities:
| Market Sentiment |
FGI Range |
Bot Behavior |
| Extreme Fear |
0-20 |
Strong buy signals - market is oversold |
| Fear |
21-40 |
Moderate buy signals |
| Neutral |
41-55 |
Hold - balanced market |
| Greed |
56-75 |
Moderate sell signals |
| Extreme Greed |
76-100 |
Strong sell signals - market is overbought |
The principle: "Buy when others are fearful, sell when others are greedy"
3. Grid Trading (Flip Direction Mode)
For range-bound markets, the bot can automatically flip between buy and sell positions:
How it works:
- Buy SOL at $200
- Set take-profit at $220
- When TP hits, bot automatically creates a sell order at $220
- Sets new TP back at $200
- Cycle repeats, capturing profits in both directions
Best for: Markets trading in predictable ranges
4. Take-Profit / Stop-Loss Management
Every position can be protected with:
- Take Profit (TP): Automatically close when target profit is reached
- Stop Loss (SL): Automatically close to limit losses if price moves against you
Example:
- Buy SOL at $200
- Set TP at $220 (+10%)
- Set SL at $190 (-5%)
- Position automatically closes at either level
Market Intelligence - Fear & Greed Index

- FGI recalculates every 5 minutes
- Price monitoring every 15 seconds (when you have active orders/positions)
- Ensures real-time market awareness
7-Day Trend Chart
The dashboard displays a visual 7-day FGI trend chart with:
- Desktop View: 12 data points per day (every 2 hours) for detailed analysis
- Mobile View: 4 data points per day (every 6 hours) for cleaner visualization
- Statistics: Accurate min/max/average calculated from all raw data points
- Day Labels: Clear markers at day boundaries for easy navigation
This helps you identify sentiment patterns and make informed trading decisions.
Order Types & Features
Market Orders

- Limit Sell: Sell when price rises to your target (sell the pump)
Example: Current price is $200
- Set limit buy at $190 - order triggers when price falls to $190
- Set limit sell at $210 - order triggers when price rises to $210
Recurring Orders
Automatically recreate orders after they close:
| Mode |
Behavior |
| Same Direction |
Recreate the same order at original entry price |

Signal Protection System
Overview
Signal Protection is an automated position management feature that monitors open positions against combined market signals. When enabled, the system continuously evaluates positions using the Fear & Greed Index (FGI) and Two-Pole Oscillator to detect potentially unfavorable market conditions and take protective action.
How It Works
The Signal Protection system runs every 5 minutes and:
- Fetches Combined Signal - Combines FGI (macro sentiment) with the Two-Pole Oscillator (technical momentum) to generate a unified market signal
- Evaluates Positions - Checks each protected position to determine if the market signal opposes the position direction
- Takes Tiered Action - Responds based on signal confidence level

Tiered Response System
High Confidence Opposing Signal
- Action: Automatically close the position
- Example: Long position during Extreme Greed + Oscillator > 0.5
- Result: Position closed via market swap to protect gains/limit losses
Medium Confidence Opposing Signal
- Action: Tighten stop-loss by 50% toward entry price
- Example: Long position during Greed + Oscillator > 0.5
- Formula: New SL = Current SL + (Entry Price - Current SL) × 0.5
- Result: Reduced risk while allowing position to continue
Low Confidence Opposing Signal
- Action: Log warning only
- Example: Position during neutral market conditions
- Result: No automatic action, position monitored

User Controls
- New Trades: Toggle Signal Protection on/off in the order form
- Existing Positions: Enable/disable via position edit interface
- Visual Indicator: Shield icon shows protection status on each position
Benefits
- Automated Risk Reduction - No manual monitoring required
- Sentiment-Aware - Uses both macro (FGI) and technical (Oscillator) data
- Graduated Response - Actions proportional to signal strength
- Capital Preservation - Protects gains during market reversals
- Configurable - Users retain control over which positions are protected
Example Scenario
A user opens a long position at $120 with Signal Protection enabled:
- Market enters Extreme Greed (FGI = 82) with Oscillator at +0.7
- Combined signal: Strong Sell with High Confidence
- Signal Protection detects opposing signal for long position
- Action: Position automatically closed at current market price
- Result: User protected from potential reversal during extreme conditions
Win Opportunities
How the Bot Can Generate Profits
1. Sentiment-Driven Entry Timing
When the market is in "Extreme Fear" (FGI 0-20):
- Prices are typically oversold
- Bot identifies buying opportunities
- Historical data shows these often precede recoveries
When the market is in "Extreme Greed" (FGI 76-100):
- Prices are typically overbought
- Bot identifies selling opportunities
- Historical data shows these often precede corrections
2. Automated Discipline
The bot removes emotional decision-making:
- No panic selling during dips
- No FOMO buying during pumps
- Consistent execution of your strategy
3. 24/7 Operation
- Crypto markets never sleep
- Bot monitors and trades around the clock
- Never misses opportunities while you're away
4. Speed Advantage
- Price monitoring every 15 seconds
- Immediate execution when triggers hit
- Faster than manual trading
5. DCA Benefits
- Regular investments smooth entry prices
- Reduces impact of buying at peaks
- Builds positions systematically
Profit Potential Examples
Example 1: Sentiment Swing Trade
- FGI drops to 15 (Extreme Fear) after market crash
- Bot buys SOL at $180
- Market recovers, FGI rises to 65
- Bot sells at $220
- Profit: ~22% (minus fees)
Example 2: Grid Trading in Range
- SOL trading between $190-$210
- Buy at $195, sell at $205 (5 cycles)
- Each cycle captures ~5% (minus fees)
- Monthly potential: 25%+ in ranging market
Example 3: Automated Stop-Loss Protection
- Buy SOL at $200 with 5% stop-loss at $190
- Market crashes to $150
- Position automatically closes at $190
- Saved 25% of potential loss
